Miracle Park is designed to be an inclusive playground, with lots of different activities and structures that all kids, in and out of wheelchairs, can enjoy. The rubber footing make it great for muddy days.
Ironwood Park (aka Pirate ship Park) is a unique playground with lots of pirate elements! Kids can “walk the plank”, see the giant Moai statue, or run up the large hills.
Pete Crivaro Park and Wading Pool is a busy park, with lots to do. It has a view of the Iowa State Capitol, as well! There is a rubber footing playground with climbing web, wading pool with splash elements, disc golf course, basketball court, and lots of shaded shelters.
This is a super cool playground in Des Moines, built to be all inclusive and available for everyone to play on. There is a dirt nature trail for hiking that is perfect for young kids, too.
